We have a great place to watch polo matches on Saturdays in the spring/fall just across the border in Pennsylvania. It's a great day out with the kids. Tailgating, great polo and just relaxing. It's cold and rainy here, and I just stumbled across this image from the fall. Wish I was tailgating in the breezy sun right about now.
Ok, so these are working RR tracks, but the train only comes by once and day and painfully slow (especially if you're sitting at the crossing in your car)
I just got the Canon 5D! Psych! I thought I might kiss the UPS man when it arrived, but you know, that would be weird and he wouldn't understand the significance of this momentous occasion, and well, I didn't. I couldn't wait to shoot with it, so after bribing a very handsome model with a trip to Game Stop to use a Christmas gift card, off we went. Here is one for the blog.
Did I mention that I LOVE my 5D! Life is great! (I don't think they've trademarked that one yet!?)
Nothing to do with hunting. I'm talking about Valentine's Day. February 14th is the 45th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar, which means there's about 42 days to find that special gift for the ones you love. I'm suggesting this year we "shoot for the heart." Let's shoot amazing images of your children and touch someone's heart with a beautiful framed portrait, adorable photo charm bracelets, a hip stylish leather photo bag, or even a treasured album of images. The gift possibilities are abundant. Check out our studio promotion. Book now as sessions are going fast!
Unless your familiar with Philadelphia you probably have no idea what is the Mummer's Parade. I'm still trying to understand it myself. Think mardi gras mixed with a jamboree?? Sequins, bright colors, golden slippers, amazing marching string bands, and lots of "strutting." We were fortunate to view the parade from the Union League Club this year - great seats, delicious food and a warm place to retreat. This adorable little girl was front and center watching the Mummers strut down Broad Street. She reminded me so much of Natalie Wood in Miracle on 34th Street that I had to snap this one. Happy New Year everyone!!
